About Us

Carolina Cares Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit outreach group dedicated to enhancing the lives of all people living in Wake County and the surrounding communities in North Carolina regardless of race, religion, background or sexual orientation.  Our vision is a world where resources are shared with those in need, waste is reduced, and all families and community members can live with independence and dignity. Carolina Cares’ focus is to provide and connect the people of The Triangle with resources such as food, clothing, and information for additional services. 

Carolina Cares Inc. does not distribute money for any reason. We are not able to assist with rent, shelter, housing, utility payments, medical issues, legal issues. childcare, transportation, medications, or hotel rooms.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to increase dignity and decrease food insecurity by serving our neighbors with information on available resources, no cost food, clothing, hygiene, infant and children items, holiday meals, school supplies, and children's gifts.

Facebook Group

Carolina Cares clients and associates are encouraged to join our Facebook group as a way to communicate with their peers. Participation is optional and is restricted. Group members agree to use the group for the intended lawful purposes and are prohibited from posting on the any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law. This applies to any posting that could be termed as Sexual Harassment and/or Discrimination. Users of the Facebook group also must agree to Facebook’s Terms of Service and Carolina Cares is not liable for any real or perceived loss or damages of any kind from the use of the Facebook group.
